The Queensland Rose Society Inc

The Queensland Rose Society – Plant exhibition, plant sale, botanical art and expert info

If you cant make it to Wynnum this Mothers day weekend to see Jerry Coleby-William’s stunning garden Bellis in action (see last blog post), the Queensland rose society will be at the Auditorium at the Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens showing off their stunning blooms, selling plants and dispensing nuggets of wisdom.

They will be displaying 400 to 500 roses on the show bench. This exhibition will include floral art displays, craft stalls, rose information stand, demonstration on planting and video presentation on pruning roses.

There will be roses available for sale from the local nursery.

Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunches available for purchase. Catering by C.W.A.

Its cheap, the gardeners are incredibly knowledgeable and you get to go for a walk around the gardens afterwards, what’s not to like about this plan?
